Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Dr. Erin Smith completed her undergraduate education at Duke University (Go Blue Devils!) in Durham. After her graduation she earned her Doctorate from Howard University before heading south to continue her training at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics, earning certification in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics. After her residency Dr. Smith associated in Richmond VA until deciding to relocate closer to home to be near family. She loves being closer to home and caring for her patients and their families.
Dr. Smith understands that properly aligned, pretty teeth can make a significant difference in a person’s health and self-esteem, and that is why she loves giving each of her patients the beautiful, straight smiles they deserve.
Professionally, Dr. Smith is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. Personally, she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated as well as an active member in her church.
When she is away from the office, Dr. Smith loves to read, travel and spend time with her family and friends.
